TBHCI operates across four structured areas, each connecting UAE and UK healthcare institutions in a different but complementary way.
Clinical Second Opinion.
Patients across the Arab world access specialist second opinions from UAE and UK consultants without travelling. Structured as a compliant informational medical opinion under UAE Federal Data Protection Law.
Surgical Corridor.
Advanced orthopaedic and upper limb procedures performed in Abu Dhabi with UK visiting consultants operating under DOH Visiting Consultant licences. Dr. Jabban serves as the locally accountable DOH-licensed physician for all cross-border surgical activity.
Fellowship Exchange.
Structured physician training rotations between UAE and UK institutions. UAE surgeons train at UK facilities. UK consultants deliver cadaveric programmes in Abu Dhabi. Dr. Jabban directs the programme as faculty.
Dual Regulatory Standing.
Dr. Jabban holds simultaneous active licences with the Department of Health Abu Dhabi and the UK General Medical Council. This is the structural foundation of the entire corridor. One clinician, two jurisdictions, full legal standing in both.

Why This Company Exists.
Clinical expertise, regulatory standing, and institutional relationships in the UAE and the United Kingdom exist in separate systems with no structured bridge between them. TBHCI is positioned to design and manage that bridge, beginning with orthopaedic and upper limb surgery and expanding across specialties through formal institutional partnerships.
Where We Are.
TBHCI is in active development. The company was registered on 12 June 2026. The following stages define the path from registration to full corridor operation.
Company Registration and Digital Foundation.
Transe Border Healthcare Investments registered with ADRA Abu Dhabi. Domains secured. Digital infrastructure established. MOU with PureHealth and Circle Health Group drafted.
Contractual and Regulatory Engineering.
Executive contracts with PureHealth finalised. DOH Telehealth facility approvals secured. Cross-border PACS imaging infrastructure deployed. Insurance credentialing with Daman Thiqa and international insurers completed.
Grand Launch. Surgical Corridor Live.
Official opening of the new Day Surgery Center in Abu Dhabi. First ten pilot cases through the UAE-UK surgical corridor. Cross-border second opinion platform Stage 0 demand validation underway.
Platform Build and Corridor Expansion.
Cross-border second opinion platform built and launched across Gulf, Egypt, Iraq, and North Africa markets. Fellowship exchange programme formally structured. B2B insurer and corporate partnerships developed.

Consultant Orthopaedic and Upper Limb Surgeon. 35 years of clinical experience.
MD Damascus University 1988. CCHST 1992. FRCS Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow 1999. Fellowship in Upper Limb Surgery 2007 to 2009. Diploma of Expert Musculoskeletal Ultrasound 2015. Active medical licences held simultaneously with DOH Abu Dhabi and the UK General Medical Council.
Established the first Shoulder and Upper Limb Unit in the UAE at Burjeel Hospital Abu Dhabi in 2015. Currently practising at Burjeel Day Surgery Centers Al Reem Island and Al Shahama. Member of the Independent Clinical Review Committee Department of Health UAE. GCC Healthcare Leadership Award 2019.
